Eynsham

On some road trips, there is a calling by wanderlust. On my recent road trip to Eynsham, Oxfordshire, this craving was satiated. We floored the accelerator of a M coupe for 3 hours straight and never looked back. Some people dislike long car journeys, I was one of them.

Rolling past the solid gates of Eynsham Hall, I marveled at our home for the night. The long stretch of driveway to the main building gave an added touch of historical secrecy. The conventional outlook of the building was betrayed by the modern furnishings inside the reception. In every corner of this Grade II structure, yet another surprise awaited our discovery.

Unfortunately, we did not have the luxury of time to explore the acres of hidden stories. Till another time, I promise.

Visual Vomit: Brighton 4ever

Ella's
Having stayed in Brighton for around a year before, I confidently declare Ella's as my favourite cafe in Brighton. Almost everything they serve is homemade and tasty, my usuals include: Leek soup, ice vanilla latte (and I don't even like coffee to begin with, this is the only exception other than yeye's 3-in-1 coffee) and cow cake.

A photo that pretty much sums up the essentials of my daily make-up routine.
So much love for every single one of those products especially my Laura mercier concealer and Chanel loose powder.

Gelato Gusto
Really fine ice-cream in the heart of North Lanes, my favourite was the Rose and lychee sorbetto, unlike the usual sorbets you find in an average ice-cream parlour, the sorbet they serve here has a good balance of sweetness, richness in flavour and the best part, it is not sour at all.

 Riddle & Finns
My to-go place for oysters and other seafood. What I really like about the place is how they serve a bread platter at the beginning that comes with three different types of dips that are pretty out of the ordinary. One of the must-trys would probably be the Rockefeller oysters, it's something different as compared to the conventional oysters, also, it's like an explosion in your mouth, no kid. This is very much a place worth going.

I will never ever get bored of this wonderland. It's just filled with so much life and love, and trust me I can go on forever. Although it was just a two night trip, I've come to learn so much more about this city and I've come to love it even more.

Till next time

Graduate Fashion Week

London post again! This time, Graduate Fashion Week. Courtesy of whatiwear.com, I was invited to GFW in London a few days ago and I must say that it was a pretty exciting experience. The show featured a variety of student works and designs from all over the UK showcasing their unlimited creativity. In return I had to snap some street styles for wiw which was another whole new experience especially since I can be quite shy when it comes to approaching strangers. Nevertheless, we met some rather friendly and nice fashionistas and of course, many thanks to my dear friend #badgirlruru ;)
