Visual Diary: Hong Kong x Macau

I do realize that I've been on a pretty long hiatus, and I apologize for that. There's just been a lot going on and school has started not too long ago. As if I haven't got enough to do, I bluntly signed myself up for way too many societies. To begin with, one of them is actually the meditation society, hoping that it would somewhat help me keep calm and sleep well. Sadly and ironically, I stress even before I attend the sessions as I constantly find myself struggling to make time for some peace and serenity. So yes, that's me, forever underestimating the time I have. Hence, I am always rushing. Anyways, these photos were taken awhile ago during my summer break when I travelled to Hong Kong and Macau for the first time. Thoughts? There's something about Hong Kong. How everything in the city just goes together, the multi-storey skyscrapers and the authentic, vintage architecture of individual buildings-creating its own unique identity. Unfortunately, I didn't have the pleasure of exploring and wondering around its hidden lanes nor did I have the time to search for the best local delicacies that it has to offer. Despite all that, I really had a nice time and I would definitely make the effort to return as soon as I can. Japan first though.
